The verse as cited
We have indeed brought them a Book that We detailed with knowledge, as guidance and mercy for a people who believe. * Are they waiting for anything but its interpretation? On the Day its interpretation comes, those who had forgotten it before will say, “The messengers of our Lord came with the truth; so do we have any intercessors who may intercede for us, or can we be sent back to do other than what we used to do?” They will have lost themselves, and what they used to fabricate will have vanished from them. * Indeed, your Lord is God, who created the heavens and the earth in six days, then established Himself on the Throne. He makes the night cover the day, pursuing it rapidly; and the sun, the moon, and the stars are subjected by His command. Surely, His is the creation and the command. Blessed is God, Lord of the worlds. * Call upon your Lord humbly and secretly; indeed, He does not love the aggressors. * Do not spread corruption in the earth after it has been set right, and call upon Him in fear and hope. Surely, God’s mercy is near to those who do good. * And He is the One who sends the winds as glad tidings before His mercy, until, when they bear heavy clouds, We drive them to a dead land, then We send down water with it and bring forth with it fruits of every kind. Thus We bring forth the dead, so that you may remember. * And the good land—its vegetation comes forth by permission of its Lord; but that which is bad brings forth nothing but meagerly. Thus do We diversify the signs for a people who give thanks. * We indeed sent Noah to his people, and he said, “O my people, worship God; you have no deity other than Him. I fear for you the punishment of a great day.” * The notables among his people said, “We surely see you in manifest error.” * He said, “O my people, there is no error in me, but I am a messenger from the Lord of the worlds. * I convey to you the messages of my Lord and advise you sincerely, and I know from God what you do not know.”
